The Flowdaq solution involves a bottle sensing device which retrofits to the watercooler. This device actively monitors bottle usage and reports bottle changes over IOT networks to the distributor’s system.
Scooping up 3rd prize in the innovation category at Last years Annual Water Cooler Europe's innovation award, and been chosen as one of the Global Stars at the International Sigfox Connect event in Berlin in late 2018 and again in Singapore 2019, the ADAM bottle monitoring IoT device by Flowdaq created a massive amount of interest in the industry and has led to several trials and talks with some HUGE distributors.
Flowdaq has its origin in a simple observation made by a Logistics Manager.....A delivery operative arriving at a customer site with a trolley load of water that was not required due to a quiet period with reduced staff numbers. What a waste of effort and resources. An industry / academic research project carried out with Maynooth University and supported by Enterprise Ireland led to the development of our innovative solution.
The Flowdaq stock monitoring device actively counts bottle changes and reports the information back over IOT networks to feed into the distributor’s management system.By accurately providing the key piece of ‘missing’ information (how many bottles are needed and WHEN ?), the technology will revolutionise watercooler distribution for Bottled Water Distributors who are keen to innovate. Flowdaq are currently in negotiations with some leading players in the bottled water industry after launching in 2019.
