IOTW provides semiconductor solution services that offer cheaper IoT interface reference design solutions. IOTW's small Digital Power System (DPS) chip can convert non-IoT devices into IoT devices by simplifying the power system hardware, making the cost lower than using the traditional analog power systems in high-power appliances. With this chip installed, the IOTW-enabled IoT devices will embrace both WiFi connectivity and blockchain. The service will be offered on a tailor-made basis.
Secondly, IOTW, as a blockchain IoT infrastructure project, uses "Proof of Assignment" (PoA) to enable instant transactions and green micro-mining on most kinds of IoT devices without changing hardware and with minimal electricity cost. No hardware cost is required because IOTW can just upgrade the firmware of existing IoT devices with its FREE system codes. The electricity cost is only 0.5 USD per device annually. By equipping this capability, the existing IoT devices can embrace added value and utility as a consumer IoT adoption incentive.
Thirdly, IOTW is building a secure IoT data ecosystem that can collect Big data across different brands of IoT devices. The big data can be valuable for IoT device manufacturers, research institute, and the sellers to make more informed decisions.
Furthermore, IOTW can offer blockchain powered IoT Connectivity Solution. It is developing a software integrated with semiconductor technology to replace conventional EMI filters which are heavy, large in size, expensive, and energy-inefficient in high power devices. Its new EMI filter solution is called "Power Semiconductor Filter (PSF)", which offers the following advantages: reducing size and weight substantially; reducing cost for high power devices; improving efficiency (and hence reducing heat loss) for high power devices. The whole PSF solution will be a small chip with or without connectivity, but it will make a perfect IoT connectivity solution.
