M2Communcation Inc. (M2COMM) is pioneering Internet-of-Things (IoT) communication systems and chipset solutions. Founded by members with years of experience in communication chipset design, M2COMM debutes IoT SoC Uplynx and RCZ1, RCZ2/4 modem modules in 2016. Uplynx is a highly integrated SoC simplifying the development of Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) IoT applications. RCZ1 and RCZ2/4 modules are designed to produce cost-effective and low-power devices for SIGFOX’s global IoT network. With a highly efficient on-chip CMOS Power Amplifier, Uplynx delivers 22dBm at only 80% of the typical current consumption of existing solutions.
M2COMM has been one of the pioneer in the growing LPWAN market and developed a wireless SOC product family to support SIGFOX network. The SOC solution, UPLYNX, has been certified by Sigfox and widely adopted in many IoT device designs worldwide. M2COMM has actively searched for more collaboration in the eco system on this product line development to developed better support of the existing and future business.
ESMT is a public fabless IC design house in Taiwan, with over-20-years experience in memory and mixed-signal IC product design, manufacturing and technical services. Recognizing recent IoT market trend, ESMT will join M2COMM’s effort in LPWAN market development, to further develop and promote IoT applications based on M2COMM’s Wireless MCU UPLYNX product family.
In the new liaison, starting from August 2018, all UPLYNX business operation, including order fulfillment and field engineering support will be offered by ESMT, while both companies will collaborate on future product development. UPLYNX will continue to carry all required certificate as it is, and same technical support team to guarantee a seamless transition for all existing customers.
