The AIVIA M allows a functional follow-up (status and function) of the AED with which it is associated. It can be part of the AED or remain on its own support. Radio Frequency technology « Low Power, Long Range » is used for the transmission of monitoring data. 

Therefore, an optical sensor in the "connected" AED, allows its follow-up without any impact on its functioning.
