Smart Metering Grid Device (SMG Device - I, SMG Device - S)

This is a device for the remote reading of the water meter and of related variables: backflow, sensor temperature, sensor flooding and tamper detection. Data is acquired remotely via radio communication in the unlicensed 868 MHz band. The device communicates with the sensor and sends data both to IoT networks (Sigfox, LoRaWAN) and to the Mobile meter-reading receiver.        

Functional overview: Reading of water meter, detection of operational and alarm conditions via Sigfox, LoRaWAN, Walk/Drive By, on-site reading. Internal memory for 180 data records, remote (OTA) configuration via loT networks.   

Alarm states: Leak Permanent flow,  Excess flow, Low temperature, Sensor flooded,  Tamper Damage to sensor or cabling, Low battery

Compatible water meter types: 

SMG Device - I: Itron Flodis, Flostar-M, Aquadis   

SMG Device - S: Sensus 420, 612, 620 and other types that allow the sensor to be mounted in the same way.

Battery lifetime: 6 years while transmitting 20 times a day to Sigfox/LoRaWAN and every 20 seconds to MOP,   batteries can be replaced by   the manufacturer
