Hydrogen A-Track: Sigfox, GPS

Suivo (autonomous) IoT Trackers are robust IP69K tracking systems with user-replaceable battery packs, leveraging multiple state-of-the-art IoT technologies for use on non-powered mobile assets.

This device has intelligent battery consumption and will use Suivo IoT Hubs for Geo Positioning if nearby. It will come pre-configured but users may change the configuration using the Suivo Starter App. The device has user replaceable battery packs. The battery pack capacity is determined by the required autonomy based on frequency of positioning, use of GPS and or hubs, and data transmission.

TECHNICAL HIGHLIGHTS

1. Motion/shock detection is possible with the on-board accelerometer. An onboard temperature sensor is standard equipment. A-Track can also be configured to scan for nearby Suivo People Trackers and Suivo Short-Range Tags.

2. IoT Trackers will first attempt to transmit to nearby IoT hubs, and if there is no acknowledgment the IoT Tracker will transmit its data over Sigfox.

GEO-POSITIONING & TRANSMISSION

IoT Trackers can determine their own position using the on-board GPS-receiver or by detecting nearby “Suivo IoT Satellites” (proprietary BLE beacons). For optimal autonomy, the approximate position can also be determined by the network or platform after the data is received.IoT Trackers can be configured to transmit data via the Sigfox network or Suivo “LR” (using private access points in vehicles or fixed infrastructure).
