Soil moisture and temperature monitor, using industry standard Meter(Decagon) sensing probe.

The soil monitor solution provides soil moisture and temperature data. Comes with an easy to use software utility, choose start date, sensor ID, number of days, and it returns a tabular data file (.csv or .xls) structured to suit your requirement, e.g. date, time, VMC%, temperature. Uses highly accurate, industry standard Meter(Decagon) sensing probe (model TEROS11). The probe can be directly inserted in the soil for evaluation of the top 100mm of topsoil.  It can also be buried at your chosen depth by first excavating a hole, inserting the probe at the desired depth in the side of the hole and then backfilling. Radio-based using Sigfox network, no data logger or gateway required, soil data goes directly from the sensor to the cloud. Battery powered, it can run for up to 10 years depending on the desired reporting interval. Can be programmed for your preferred reporting frequency (once/hour, once/3 hours, once/day, etc.) The standard product has one soil probe, (Multi probe versions by special order).
