Waterwatch is Tussock Innovation's brand of IoT water level sensors. Dedicated to providing the necessary insights to better manage precious water resources, and help society adapt to a changing environment; The Waterwatch range of products comprise of battery powered internet-connected sensors, mobile applications, and a cloud-based hub.

The T35 tank level sensor is the most recent product in the Waterwatch portfolio and is the first IoT based product of its type globally. Designed for long term field deployment the T35 tracks changes in tank liquid levels with a highly accurate 60GHz radar.

This non-invasive, non-corrodible sensor allows the T35 to be deployed in a broad range of installation types from drinking water to chemical and fuel tanks. User control of the T35 is provided via native iOS, Android and Web apps.

Sensor data is communicated directly to the web and used to provide time-critical alerts and level storage information. The Waterwatch T35 system enables third-party vendors to provide value add insights like delivery requests and vehicle route optimisation via secure third-party API and Webhook access.

Designed in New Zealand specifically to monitor liquid levels in plastic and concrete tanks, the Waterwatch T35 is a versatile solution with multiple applications across many organisational requirements. Tested over several different scenarios and sites throughout New Zealand, the sensor has proven to be reliable and effective.

This technology will provide advancements in the agricultural sector through the optimisation of resources and confidence in knowing all assets operating efficiently. It will also assist in hazardous chemical monitoring and fuel storage/delivery.

Many existing tank monitoring systems require highly intrusive installation processes and use pressure or ultrasonic sensors to measure liquid level. These systems generally also include external antennae, solar panels or extra cables to connect, increasing the likelihood of failure over time.
The T35 supersedes existing tank monitoring systems opening doors to new markets such as corrosive chemical, diesel and grain silo monitoring. Taking only 5 minutes to install T35 is the leading option for plastic water tanks and corrosive liquids.
