Capacitance Soil Moisture Probe UC1 solution includes:

  • Plug’n’Play – connect sensor, turn device on and start receiving sensor data
  • 6-depth capacitance soil moisture probe - measures every 10 cm
  • Transmitter with 2 x 18650 Li-Ion batteries with total capacity of 5200 mAh
  • Enclosure ingress protection class IP67
  • Operation temperature range -20 °C to +70 °C
  • RC-1 (also available RC- 2/3/4)

This is all you need to acquire accurate soil moisture and soil temperature data and to transmit it to your portal or application.

Optimizing Irrigation

Irrigation models use climate and soil moisture data to help farmers improve their irrigation practices and to save water without sacrificing crop quality.

Climate is changing. It is getting warmer but also dynamics of climate changes accelerate. As a farmer you can increase irrigation when heatwaves are in the forecast. But it is important to monitor and measure soil moisture at different depths to be able to save water and lower irrigation costs.
