HC-DIST-SIG-Z2 is a device with a distance sensor that can read the level of water, liquids, solid materials, walls, people etc. with a 1 mm accuracy. It can detect the distance up to 10 meters. The device can be configured with our USB Configurator app and add a limit to send fast data when the distance is lower or bigger the distance placed in the limit. If a limit is configured, the device will send data in the period configured (from every X minutesto every X hours) but when the distance will be over or below the limit (depending on the configuration), the device will send data every 5 minutes.
Most of our customers use this device for water level projects such as monotoring the water level in rivers, water level into manholes, etc.
It has other 3 inputs and can read other sensors. meters or alarms (up to 4 different sensors with 1 device)
it can be delivered with IP68 for special projects.

Functional
The data sent by the device includes the voltage got in inputs 1, 2 and 3, or the pulses read (up to 100 Hz) or if a digital sensor is on or off and also the alarm signal of the input 4.
The distance voltage is in input 1 and from the voltage to the distance is very easy to calculate it.
