The IOTA FS-2-R2 water flooding sensor, equipped with SIGFOX wireless transmission, has been designed to reliably detect presence of water on the floor in the industrial environment and generate an alert as to minimise the losses due to flooding. The sensing element is a special water detecting rope that should be fixed to the floor where the flooding may be expected. In the standard configuration the device reports flooding events and it sends a daily awake message with the battery status.
