Please be advised that this radio configuration (RC1) is not adapted for United States.
This reader uses the IEC62056-21 mode "C" optical data interface available on most billing power meters (note: not to be confused with the metrology flashing LED). The reader can provide actual consumption data as displayed on the meter and also other available data from the meter registers. Up to 13 parameters can be selected for reading.
Installation is absolutely simple, just hang on the meter magnetic target and push to turn on - see video below. Select which parameters to be read-out by downlink, or use model with already pre-selected parameters (series can be customized as applied by your local power distributor). The battery is sufficient for more then 10 years with consumption data once a day. For shorter read-outs (continuous measurments in intervals 15min, 1h, etc.) you can choose USB-C model powered by adapter or powerbank or USB-C model with rechargable battery built in and internal antenna built in (comming soon).
Using SENSEPARAM.COM portal, you can view, download or send data by callback or email (see demo there). Portal also allows to use end-to-end AES data decryption for models with encryption as consumption data often falls under the category of personal data (households metering). Samples can be purchased on the manufacturer's e-shop.
