Sigsense is a device operating under the Sigfox network, with main purpose to monitor operating time of assets, such as air compressors, generators, engines, etc., to be used both indoor and outdoor.
Sigsense is a device fully developed and produced by Sigmais IoT Company. It basically monitors operating time through the detection of vibration of machines, as it has an accelerometer sensor. With this feature it monitors not only working time accumulates, but also the operating regime. By simply monitoring these two parameters, maintenance programs become much more precise and efficient. We have learned that this simple monitoring solves around 80% of the possible problems that may occur in the field. Also Sigsense bring built in temperature sensor. Some other features are remote configuration, daily keep alive function, battery level detection and Sigfox geo location feature. As it uses vibration detection, it is a noninvasive device. In other words, it was designed to be installed at the enclosure of machines, not requiring any intervention, making installation very easy and smooth, allowing fast deployment. It is a low power consumption device, with battery life of 5 to 7 years last.
