Sensoneo deployed Smart Buttons as a means of manual nitification the bin is full. There is always a responsible personel for each bin along the production line. As the bin is filling up, he/she pushes the button to send request for emptying. Sensoneo platform receives all the notifications and recalculates the collection plan every minute. 

Smart Button is a simple and cost-efficient tool for manual fullness notification. It is mounted near the bin as the bins are replaced with empty ones. Not emptied on the spot. 

The Operator immediately sees all the full bins in Dashboard and Route Planning Engine automatically recalculates the routes to accommodate the new full bin. Both Dashboard and Route Planning Engine are part of Smart Waste Management System, a powerful, cloud-based platform designed by Sensoneo.

Sensoneo platforms calculates collection plan accomodating

1. incomming "full bin" notification
2. collection schedule for bins with fixed collection intervals
3. variables such as vehicle capacity, bin capacity, trash type, bin type, work schedule
4. rules such as "The bin must be emptied within 60 minutes from fullness notification. The driver always has to take the oldest route available. Trash type A and B can be collected at once, but type C has to be collected separately. Trash type D is collected on-demand and type F has a fixed frequency 1x day."

We designed the Dashboard in Smart Waste Management System for Operators and Collection App for Drivers. 

Drivers receive all the planned route in their Android mobile app. Collection App helps drivers navigate the premises and identify bins for collection. Drivers can share feedback with Operator via the app – manual service verification that bin was emptied including fullness indication (traffic light system). Collection App sends all the data to the Sensoneo Platform and Operator has remote control.
