Ovinto Sat V2

The Ovinto Sat V2 is a unique hybrid monitoring solution to track your unpowered assets. The hybrid nature of the device enables it to automatically switch between Sigfox and satellite communication, depending on the circumstances. Next to a GPS sensor, the Ovinto Sat V2 can capture different sensor data simultaneously. The many dedicated sensor inputs can for example be connected to multiple pressure and temperature sensors, a thermocouple sensor, acceleration sensor, etc. On top of that, the Ovinto Sat V2 is ATEX certified for zone 1, which means that the device is perfect for transport of highly hazardous goods, such as CS2.

Because of the premium hardware quality and the high ATEX certificate, the Ovinto Sat has proven functionality in the chemical sectory, where it is being used as a monitoring device to track rail cars and tank containers. Ineos Oxide for example, has been using the device to monitor their transports of Ethylene Oxide.
