SIGFLITE Fault Passage Indicator (FPI)

SIGFLITE sends all alerts including the most important two – Permanent Fault and Transient Fault  directly to the Power Companies control room within 35 secs of a fault appearing on the line. Every FPI will additionally send a daily heartbeat message with the units battery voltage – very helpful for seeing at a glance if any units are offline and which ones may need a replacement battery in the near future.

 The real differentiation of this product is that the FPI connects directly to SIGFOX network  and doesn't require any peripheral devices to be installed to enable the connectivity.  This has an impact both on cost and effort to deploy.  The alternative products in the market typically require an additional wireless gateway to be installed on the pole alongside the FPI which requires additional manpower and installation time.
