The SAYME Dumpster devices measure the level of waste by means of two ultrasonic transducers. Those transducers send an ultrasonic wave and by means of its echo time delay, the distance towards the first obstacle is determined.
Besides, the fire alarm will be triggered when an increased rate of the temperature is more than 7ºC/min, and the dumping alarm will be triggered once the inclination of the sensing axis exceeds 45º for more than 5 min.
